The Role

The Polymer General Laborer plays a key part in Concast’s production process, preparing polymer molds and materials for daily production. This role involves a combination of assembly, preparation, and manual labor tasks to ensure thermoset plastic products are of the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Reports to Production Supervisor for daily assignments.
  • Precision work to include the use of digital scaling of chemicals and materials.
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings to ensure good team communication.
  • Participation in safety activities.
  • Demold, clean and preparation of polymer molds.
  • Handling of hardware, fiberglass and materials used in polymer manufacturing.
  • Handling aluminum, fiberglass, silicone and steel molds.
  • Visual inspection of completed product, accompanied with the use of a sanding stone to eliminate sharp edges.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by management as needed.
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements What We’re Looking For
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple task and priorities effectively.

  • Ability to work with general direction and minimal guidance.

  • Strong understanding of and adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and safety regulations in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing plant setting.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands for handling materials and operating equipment.
  • Frequent climbing, stooping, and reaching.
  • Continual exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions.
  • Regularly required to lift or carry 25–50 lbs; occasional lifting of heavier materials.
  • Requires visual acuity to read measurements, operate tools, and perform quality checks.
  • Work performed in both indoor and outdoor manufacturing settings.
