Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
Responsibilities- Set up and operate Weinig moulders for custom production runs.
- Read and interpret work orders and blueprint profile drawings to determine specific setup requirements.
- Operate machinery to maintain tight tolerances and flawless, clean finishes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make precision adjustments on the fly to keep production moving.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow all safety procedures.
- Candidate must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Proven experience setting up and operating industrial wood moulders.
- Strong ability to read and interpret profile drawings, blueprints, and technical work orders.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands‑on troubleshooting skills.
- A sharp eye for quality control and tight tolerances.
- Reliable work ethic and a commitment to shop safety.
- Specific, hands‑on experience with Weinig brand moulders.
- Experience or interest in knife grinding and custom tooling.
- Prior experience in high‑end architectural millwork or custom cabinetry.
