Up to $27.00 per hour + corporate profit sharing. 100% onsite, no remote capability. Full‑time permanent.

Requirements and Compensation:

  • Minimum 1+ year of Auto Body Schooling or equivalent industrial painting experience.
  • Compensation: up to $27.00 per hour (based on experience) + profit sharing + incentives.
  • Shifts available: 1st Shift (6:00, 7:00, 8:00 starts) and 3rd Shift (+$2.00/hour shift differential).
  • Work type:
    Full‑Time, Permanent, W‑2; onsite only.
  • High stability required; candidates who change jobs every two years will not be evaluated.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; facility located in Duluth, MN.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform high‑quality surface preparation (sanding, masking, chemical cleaning) of large industrial components.
  • Mix industrial‑grade coatings, primers, and catalysts to exact specifications, managing drying times and corrosion resistance.
  • Operate advanced spray equipment, pressure pots, and precision touch‑up tools to apply protective finishes.
  • Execute final product detailing, including placement and alignment of custom vinyl cut graphics and decals.
  • Use overhead cranes and material handling equipment to move and position massive steel components.
  • Maintain workspace efficiency by managing consumables and performing routine preventative maintenance on booth filtration and gun equipment.
  • Collaborate with assembly and fabrication teams to meet production timelines while maintaining 5S cleanliness and safety protocols.
What We Are Looking For
  • Finishing foundation: 1+ year of formal Auto Body / Collision Repair schooling or equivalent experience with spray equipment.
  • Coating technicality:
    Proficiency in paint mixing ratios, mil thickness testing, and understanding of flash times and application processes.
  • Quality‑first mindset:
    Sharp eye for detail and stamina for precision work on large‑scale machinery.
  • Physical readiness:
    Capability to pass standard medical clearance and respirator fit‑testing.
  • Professional reliability:
    Dependable work history with multi‑year tenures.
