Sanitation Technician - 3rd Shift

Reports to: Sanitation Manager

Department: Wells - 3rd Shift Sanitation

Classification: Nonexempt

Physical Classification: 1-17 (see Back & Task Chart)

Wage: $24.23/hour

Disassemble,cleanand assemble all plant food processing equipment by usinghigh- and low-pressure hot water, corrosivechemicalsand other cleaning equipment.

• Disassemble food-processingequipmentas necessary.
• Clean equipment and overhead areas, using a variety of equipment, including high-pressure hot water hoses, chemicals,foamers,sanitizers scrubbing equipment, etc.
• Reassemble equipment and prepare forthe nextday'sfood production.
• Frequently bend, lift,climband twist throughout the work shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Dry pick up.
• Drain the fryer properly.
• Tear down the filter for cleaning.
• Gel the fryer, filter, andthe conveyor. Then foam the fryer, filter, andthe conveyor.
• High pressure the roomclean, checking for any deficiencies.
• Flush the fryerpipeandfill the fryer for the followingdaysproduction. Then set the fryer temperature.
• Boil the fryer once a week.

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPEand other equipment as necessary or required.

Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability tofrequentlybend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
