* This position is responsible for  safely and efficiently bagging, packaging, and transporting powder products as well as operating a forklift to move materials and products within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves operating bagging equipment, handling materials, and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of inventory within the production area and transporting materials to designated areas, supporting inventory operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Operate bagging equipment to fill and package quartz products according to specifications.
* Ensure accurate weighing, labeling, and sealing of bags.
* Inspect packaged products for quality and ensure they meet company standards.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bagging equipment and forklifts.
* Operate a forklift to transport materials, including raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies, within the facility.
* Load and unload trucks, and stage materials for production or shipment.
* Conduct daily inspections of the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
* Operate the forklift safely and efficiently, following all company procedures and safety regulations.
* Handle materials, including raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies, within the production area.
* Maintain accurate records of materials handled, products packaged, and inventory levels.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to bagging, material handling, and forklift operation and participate in safety meetings and training..
* Assist Plant Operators in monitoring production processes and ensuring efficient workflow.
* Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor..

* Utilize barcode scanning systems to track and manage inventory movement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling and storage.
* Perform regular cycle counts of bagged products to reconcile inventory and ensure accuracy.
