Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Busbar Punching and Bending Machine Operator for our Fabrication Department. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s Busbar Punching and Bending Machine Operator position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

The Busbar Punching and Bending Machine Operator is a skilled professional responsible for operating specialized machinery used to punch and bend busbars – metal bars or strips used for conducting electricity – according to engineering specifications. They play a vital role in the manufacturing process of electrical components and assemblies.

In this role you will get to:
  • Machine Setup:
    Prepare and set up the busbar punching and bending machine by loading the appropriate tools, dies, and busbar materials. Ensure the machine is properly calibrated and aligned for precise punching and bending operations.
  • Punching Operations:
    Operate the machine to punch holes or cutouts into the busbars based on engineering drawings and specifications. This includes selecting the correct punching tools and adjusting machine settings for various hole sizes and shapes.
  • Bending Operations:
    Use the machine to accurately bend the busbars to the required angles and dimensions, following bending sequences and measurements provided in the engineering drawings.
  • Material Handling:
    Load and position busbar materials onto the machine's work area, ensuring proper alignment and positioning for accurate punching and bending.
  • Quality Control:
    Regularly inspect punched and bent busbars to verify dimensional accuracy and quality, using measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identify and resolve minor issues or deviations that may occur during the punching and bending process, such as material irregularities or machine malfunctions.
