Electrical Technician – Panel Shop

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician in our Panel Shop. You will be responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting the panels that control equipment such as motors, compressors.

• Wire electrical control panels following layout, work instructions, and applicable standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
• Assist line specialist with training of new employees.
• Work independently with very little direction from line specialist or supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

• 2+ years of wiring experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics required.
• Use basic hand tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) required.
