Overview

Responsibilities- Operate, monitor and maintain CNC machines according to SOP standards.
- Operate an overhead crane and perform daily safety inspections before use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping the CNC area free of clutter.
- Perform job duties safely as outlined in the SOPs.
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines in accordance with SOPs.
- Visually inspect CNC equipment and tooling for proper functionality.
- Load and edit machine programs; read, analyze and interpret technical procedures for the machine.
- Use measuring equipment and verify each part before and after machining.
- Communicate and troubleshoot within your area and between other areas of the shop as needed.
- Cross‑train on multiple types of equipment and perform other duties assigned by Supervisor or Management.
- Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications with precision.
- Committed to maintaining high production standards and adhering to company quality control procedures.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
- Proficient with measuring equipment.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.
- English speaking and reading proficiency sufficient to converse with the public, read highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records.
- Basic computer skills and basic math skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post‑secondary education in machining preferred. - Experience:
2+ years in machining preferred. - Systems:
Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD preferred.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push/pull 100 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods during a shift up to 10 hours, with intermittent breaks.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift.
- Steel‑toed boots.
- Hearing protection.
- Safety glasses.
- Cut‑proof gloves.
- Hourly rate: $19.00 – $24.00, based on role, level, and location.
