Machinist - 1st and 2nd Shift

Bend Tec, LLC has an exciting opportunity available for a Machinist to be an integral part of our team. Bend Tec values quality and aims to build a workforce of talented employees. • Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Selects appropriate machine and setting for a given task.
• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Drill press, lathe, mill, band saw preferred; additional onsite training provided.
• Computer skills:
  None specifically required.
• Certifications & licenses:
  None specifically required.
• Other requirements:
  Knowledge of piping materials (visual and description); must be on feet for full shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull objects up to 100 pounds, and wear a respirator.
