What You’ll DoYou will spend half of your time supporting core production and the other half working directly with engineering on new innovations.
- Build the Future:
Use sketches, CAD drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble complex prototype units from the ground up - Production Support:
Assemble and test standard production products to ensure we meet our delivery goals. - Testing & Validation:
Perform hands-on testing and collect critical data on prototypes and pre-production units. - Process Improvement:
Collaborate with engineers to design the tools and documentation that will eventually be used on the manufacturing floor. - Smooth Transitions:
Act as a technical liaison to help move parts from the "New Product Introduction" (NPI) phase into full-scale production.
We need a detail-oriented technician who can handle semi-routine tasks while knowing exactly when to stop and alert a supervisor if a quality issue arises.
- Manufacturing
Experience:
At least 4–6 years of experience working in a professional manufacturing environment. - Technical
Skills:
Deep experience with magnetic component assembly, specifically hand soldering, winding, and wire stripping. - Precision & Accuracy:
Familiarity with lead termination and general best practices for magnetics assembly - Adaptability:
The ability to work from minimal documentation and adjust to occasional deviations from standard practices.
- Visual Literacy: A strong ability to interpret 3D CAD drawings or complex technical diagrams.
- Problem-Solving:
Experience identifying quality risks before they impact the final product delivery. - Technical Writing:
Ability to assist in drafting clear, concise manufacturing documentation.
