Summary The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for accurate storage and organization of finished good product, preparing, palletizing and scheduling shipments.
- Identify and prioritize open orders using ERP system, communicating any issues that could impact on-time performance.
- Determine ship method and accurately pick product for outgoing shipments.
- Select appropriate box dimensions and package customer orders.
- Prepare skids for freight pickup, including banding, shrink wrapping, and pallet markings, including documenting accurate weight and dimensions.
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, use computer programs to produce required package labels and shipping documentation.
- Communicate with carrier partners to meet the needs of the business.
- Coordinate with General Production for efficient and accurate storage of finished goods.
- Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Perform audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow directions and standard operating procedures while working in a fast paced, deadline oriented, physically demanding environment.
- Ability to cross train and flex into other departments to meet the needs of the business.
- Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must be able to operate small power tools safely.
- Keep the shipping department clean and organized.
- Follow all prescribed safety regulations.

As a condition of employment, final candidates will be drug tested.
Minimum Education RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience RequiredWarehouse or shipping facility experience preferred. Must have great attention to detail. Ability to work well independently or as a team. Must have great communication and organizational skills.
Must be willing and able to attain forklift operator certification. Communication through Microsoft Teams or Outlook will be required. Must be able to effectively navigate and use loll's ERP system. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods. Work environment may be noisy and hot. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the principal accountabilities.
