Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Set up and program/adjust sprue-picking robots on injection molding machines
- Set up and adjust programs on 6-axis robots (Fanuc)
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and vision systems (brands include Allen-Bradley, Maple Systems, Fanuc, Arburg, Cognex, and Delta)
- Read and follow schematics to assemble end-of-arm tooling for robots
- Assemble and install custom equipment on the production floor using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids
- Minimum 2 years of PLC programming experience
- Minimum 2 years of industrial robot programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Associate degree (2-year) in Automation, Mechatronics, Fluid Power, or a related field
- Experience working with injection molding machinery
