About the Role

An Account Director (Brand) is a business leader who acts as a trusted advisor to clients and agency teams, supporting the creation of data‑driven, award‑winning work. They champion creative ideas, ensure flawless delivery, and guide teams toward innovative strategies.

All Account roles are inherently leadership positions, responsible for inspiring creative excellence through confident decision‑making, effective communication, and quick problem‑solving. You will build relationships with Director‑level and VP‑level clients, champion Monks’ vision, and position strategies for organic revenue growth while managing scopes and resources.

With a focus on brand social strategy, you will work closely with day‑to‑day clients, cross‑functional teams, and brand partners, helping them connect initiatives to larger brand ambitions. You will coach and develop agency staff through feedback, training, and growth opportunities, and later join senior leadership to scale learning across the agency.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively consult on creative ideas and executions.
  • Deliver compelling storytelling for sponsorship and talent partnerships.
  • Inspire larger creative strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to scale outcomes across other parts of the business.
  • Champion agile production that flexes efficiently with market needs.
  • Manage scope of work and create organic growth to expand client relationships.
About You
The essentials:
  • 8–10+ years of agency experience.
  • Comfort with regular travel (up to 7 days per month).
  • Passion for and experience in brand marketing.
  • Strong people skills—good at building relationships, a compelling conversationalist.
  • Diplomatic and empathetic leadership.
  • Experience in social media, fluency in media and KPIs.
  • Effective communicator, strong writer, and strong presenter.
Not a must, but a plus:
  • Experience working in entertainment or brand partnerships.
  • Ability to balance the best interests of Monks and clients.

Salary Range: $100,000—$120,000 USD
