Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and lead development of commercial engagement plans with nephrology stakeholders (primarily HCPs) to inform brand strategy and messaging.
- Identify and monitor market trends and insights into current/future treatment patterns; strategize solutions to maximize commercial uptake.
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with key nephrology stakeholders for programs including speaker bureaus, advisory boards, congresses, and regional insights meetings.
- Partner with HCPs on speaker bureau execution (attend events, train/evaluate speakers, provide feedback).
- Lead commercial regional insights meetings through identification and engagement of key advisors.
- Nominate new members and support commercial advisory boards/strategic councils.
- Plan and execute national and regional conferences with strategic HCP engagements for senior leaders.
- Work with HCPs to gain and synthesize feedback supporting commercial projects.
- Deliver customer insights on commercial strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution with marketing and HQ teams.
- Collaborate with other field-based roles (sales, medical, access, etc.) to optimize engagement and insight generation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 8 years’ experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals (or equivalent).
- Nephrology experience; prior Thought Leader Liaison or Regional Marketing Lead experience.
- Rare disease/specialty product launch experience.
- Customer focus; strong knowledge of HCP engagement.
- Clinical/technical/scientific aptitude in complex disease states.
- Ability to execute strategic/tactical plans on short timelines.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation).
- Self-driven; strong organizing/planning.
- Collaborative; can manage multiple projects.
~60–80% domestic travel; some weekends included.
Valid driver’s license (in good standing).
