Overview
In this role you will be responsible for administrative oversight of patient care provided for patients in the facility using the policies and procedures of Essentia Health. Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
You will be able to contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys thinking critically, collaborating across disciplines, and building meaningful connections with patients beyond the bedside.
- Provide administrative oversight of patient care in the facility in accordance with Essentia Health policies and procedures.
- Organize and deliver nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia; meet applicable Joint Commission and other regulatory/accrediting requirements.
- Collaborate across disciplines and build meaningful connections with patients beyond the bedside.

- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active RN license in your state of employment
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 1 month)
- Must have nursing license in the state of MN
