ICU Nurse
Job Description
Join a focused inpatient Medical Intensive Care (IMC) unit in Duluth, Minnesota, for a 13-week travel contract as an RN. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a 22-bed IMC setting, managing complex medical patients such as those with CVA, sepsis, and complicated wound care. You will be responsible for caring for patients with high acuity, performing neuro assessments, starting IVs, and collaborating with a dedicated team.
The assignment offers the chance to enhance your skills in a fast-paced environment with shared responsibilities like call lights and alarms, and occasional assisting with patient transfers or providing help as needed. Expect to work approximately 36 hours weekly with potential low census hours, including on-call duties, during which you’ll need to be ready to respond quickly. This contract is perfect for resilient, independent nurses who enjoy a mix of challenging patient cases and teamwork in a tight‑knit ICU setting.
Wearing royal blue scrubs and working in a unit where efficiency and resilience are valued will be key to success in this role.
