Job Summary
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision‑making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. May care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly, as noted in age‑related category and area of expertise.
This position will help expand patient access and provide exceptional care across our dedicated cardiology services. The advanced practice provider may function within our Cardiac Centers of Excellence programs, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care delivery, including patient follow‑ups, consults, and telehealth visits to meet increasing same‑day access needs. Occasional outreach to neighboring sites will be required.
Our goal is for providers to work at the top of their scope of practice, with guidance and support, including opportunities to perform procedures. This role offers collaboration as well as opportunities for specialized training, certification, and research.
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production‑based compensation.

Advanced practice provider with expertise in cardiology services.
Licensure & Certification- NP: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state; current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate state; current certification in CPR; national certification in applicable area; successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
- PA: Current licensure as a physician assistant in the appropriate state; current certification in CPR; national certification; successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
