Village Green Landscapes is looking for a full time Lawn Care Technician / Chemical Applicator
. This position can work out of our St. Paul office location. Full-time year- round employment if the candidate is interested in commercial snow removal in the winter months. Benefits eligibility with year round employment.

$27.00 - $32.00 Depending on Experience

Our Lawn Care Technician position provides application of fertilizers and pesticides for the purposes of lawn growth, tree, ornamental turf preservation, and weed control for our customer properties.

• Responsible for handling, mixing, and application of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and chemicals via dry and liquid machines
• Operates and maintains all equipment within company safety and preventive maintenance standards
• Maintains records of job status
• Proficient in the use of various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs
• Provides excellent customer service
• Works collaboratively with the team and company leadership
• Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator license for core (A) and turf & ornaments (E)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
• Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test

• Commercial Applicator license for aquatic (F) and insect control (S)
