Acquire property rights, easements, and access agreements needed for transportation, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects throughout Minnesota.
Build relationships with property owners, agencies, and project stakeholders while serving as SEH's primary representative during the acquisition process.
Conduct property research, review title information, prepare acquisition documents, and coordinate with survey, engineering, and legal teams to support project delivery.
Represent SEH at public meetings, stakeholder discussions, and project coordination meetings.
Track acquisition schedules, maintain project documentation, and support clients through all phases of right-of-way acquisition.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and develop into an independent right-of-way professional through training, mentorship, and project experience.
Essential Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Planning, Public Administration, Surveying, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Minnesota.
- Ability to obtain a Minnesota Real Estate License within a reasonable timeframe.
- Minnesota Real Estate License.
- 2+ years of experience in right-of-way, real estate, land services, property acquisition, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience with easement acquisition, title research, landowner negotiations, or public infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of transportation, utility, municipal, or land development projects.
- Experience working with local governments, counties, or state agencies.
- Outgoing, customer-focused personality with a passion for working directly with landowners and communities.
- Ability to build client relationships and support business development efforts.
This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $35 and $42 per hour based on skill set and experience.
