Job Summary

Political Psychology Graduate Research Assistant – 25% (10 hours per week) at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

UMD Psychology Department.

Work schedule:

weekly meetings and in-person data collection.

• Assist with research planning, including literature reviews, IRB materials, stimulus development, and study setup.
• Recruit participants and conduct data collection for online and in-person studies.
• Manage data entry, coding, cleaning, and perform statistical analyses.
• Contribute to manuscripts and presentations.
• Maintain ethical and data‑security standards, including CITI training.
• Support general lab operations and coordinate undergraduate researchers and other lab personnel.
• Handle project‑related administrative tasks.
• Participate in regular meetings with the supervising faculty member.

• UMN graduate student in good academic standing.
• Graduate background in experimental psychology.
• Training in psychology research methods and statistics.
• Research experience.

Rate of pay: $27.95 per hour; bi‑weekly. Student workers are eligible for the Student Health Benefit Plan if they maintain 6 or more eligible course credits within a given semester.
