Zumbrota-Mazeppa Elementary School
PositionTitle: Cook – Elementary - Beginning in the School Year
Reports To: Food & Nutrition Director, Head Cook of Kitchen
5 days a week – Per student attendance days
173 days for 2026/27 School Year
The Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of all menu items. Additional responsibilities include cleaning, dishwashing, running the point of sale, ensuring safe food handling procedures and ensuring foods are stored, labeled, and rotated properly in accordance with state/federal food code. All staff are expected to perform related work as assigned by their supervisor.
