Job Overview

As the Client Manager, Group Benefits - Premier Accounts, you will be the primary contact for our Premier Account client relationships, responsible for retention, satisfaction, and growth of your book of business. The role includes managing clients with 100–1,999 lives, collaborating with internal partners, and achieving yearly financial growth goals.

• Maintain client relationships and oversee account performance.
• Develop and implement strategic solutions to meet clients’ benefit needs.
• Collaborate with brokers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to execute the account management strategy.
• Analyze renewal data and influence renewal decisions.
• Leverage technology platforms such as Microsoft Office suite, Tableau, and Salesforce to support sales and client service.
• Drive book of business profitability through growth and retention initiatives.
• Maintain industry licensing within 90 days of hire and complete continuing education requirements.

• BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of account management or sales experience; group insurance experience preferred.
• Proven success working with brokers/consultants and sophisticated clients.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in virtual and in‑person settings.
• Strategic and critical thinking, basic math, and organizational time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams), Tableau, Salesforce.

Must reside in or be commutable to the Minneapolis, MN metro area. Qualified applicants in Iowa will also be considered. Up to 25% travel within the assigned territory.

Salary range: $60,160.00 – $98,830.00 (base pay), with potential eligibility for annual sales or other incentive compensation.
