Position Overview

Insurance Sales Agent – No insurance background required. Full‑time (W‑2) position focused on selling ACG‑branded and brokered insurance, memberships, and financial products at a high‑traffic ACG branch.

Compensation & Incentives

Base pay: $31,200 per year (geographically adjusted). Unlimited commissions on Property & Casualty, Life Insurance Referrals, AAA Memberships, and Credit Card sales. Average annual earnings range: $57,000–$87,000+, based on performance.

Signed bonus: $5,000 (subject to a 1‑year payback clause if employment is terminated before completing 12 months).

Ramp‑up pay: additional $200 per week during months 0‑2, $150 per week during months 3‑4, and $100 per week during months 5‑6. New‑hire performance‑based incentives and bonuses tied to milestone achievements.

Responsibilities
  • Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG insurance, membership, and financial products within a branch setting.
  • Leverage proven sales methodologies to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain clients, and grow the ACG portfolio.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews, assess risk, recommend solutions, and issue policies following underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
  • Identify and execute cross‑sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license or ability to obtain before hire.
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses for selling/sservicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment.
  • Insurance experience helpful but not required; training will be provided.
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities with disciplined lead tracking, follow‑up, and pipeline management.
  • Consultative selling skills supported by deep product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology for sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer‑first mindset, and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
  • Results‑driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for exceeding performance goals.
Work Schedule & Environment

Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM (40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch). Branch location with temperature control. Occasional travel to branch or community events.
