CONVENT, LA - TWIC SITE

Position:
Flex TWIC Security Professional

Pay: $17.50 per hour, paid weekly

Schedule:

12‑hour shifts; must be able to work any schedule or shift

• 21 years of age or older
• Active TWIC card
• Open availability to work flexible shifts
• Basic computer skills for handheld devices
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in the elements
• One year or more of security experience
• Must pass DISA hair follicle drug test

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying prohibited items
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
