Immediate Opening for a Full‑Time Loss Prevention Officer

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and use of closed circuit TV cameras.
• Report writing.
• Interact with local law enforcement as needed.
• Provide courtroom testimony as required.

• Pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.
• Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
• Criminal justice or related studies a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
