Home Services Tech at Marvin
. We are seeking a versatile and customer‑oriented Home Services Technician to join our team at Marvin Home Center. This full‑time role involves hands‑on work such as drywall, finish carpentry, window and door installation, and on‑site maintenance for Marvin Headquarters, Visitor’s Center, and company‑owned Warroad Real Estate properties. It also includes in‑store support with sales, stocking, and inventory during slower periods.

The position requires on‑call weekend responsibilities for maintenance and emergency repairs at company properties, along with seasonal checkups and coordination with contractors.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, full‑time. On‑call Weekends for Warroad Real Estate.

• Drywall patching and repair
• Siding and gutter repair
• Basic landscaping and trimming
• Pressure washing and window cleaning
• Window installation and adjustments
• Finish carpentry, trim work, and custom wood projects
• Shelving, cabinets, countertops, doors, window coverings, weatherstripping, and other handyman tasks
• Provide on‑site evaluations to recommend solutions and materials
• Deliver excellent customer service both in‑store and at job sites
• Safely operate hand and power tools in compliance with company and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent
• Load, transport, and unload materials for projects as needed
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet customer expectations
• Perform routine maintenance, seasonal checkups, and emergency repairs for company‑owned Warroad Real Estate properties
• Coordinate advanced repairs with preferred contractors and manage the needed repairs until completion

• Proven handyman, maintenance, or construction experience
• Strong drywall repair, window and door installation, and finish carpentry skills
• Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working at various heights on ladders and in confined/small spaces when needed
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

$19.00 – $25.50 per hour
