Exterior Installer

Are you a hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors and seeing a project through from start to finish? We are representing a premier local contractor looking for a reliable year‑round Exterior Installer to join their Duluth-based crew. This is a direct‑hire role for a craftsman who wants to protect local homes against the North Shore elements while working for a company that actually invests in their team's growth.

Hours:

Monday‑Friday; 8 AM-4:30 PM (rough start‑stop times depending on project)

Starting Pay: $24–28 /hour (depending on experience)

Location:

Duluth, MN and surrounding area

• The Big Picture:
  Install high‑quality residential windows, entry doors, and various siding materials (vinyl, engineered wood, etc.).
• The Prep:
  Remove old materials, inspect for underlying damage, and install the weatherproof barriers that keep homes dry.
• The Details:
  Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision. You???ll use power tools and metal brakes to create custom trim that looks as good as it functions.
• Site Safety:
  Keep the workspace organized and follow safety protocols, especially when working on ladders or scaffolding.
• Professionalism:
  Act as a professional face for the company by communicating clearly with homeowners and leaving every job site cleaner than you found it.

• Physical Grit:
  You are comfortable lifting 75+ lbs and working at heights, regardless of whether it's a humid July day or a brisk Lake Superior winter morning.
• Road Ready:
  You have a valid Driver's License with a clean record and can pass a DOT physical (required for operating company vehicles).
• Reliability:
  You're the person the team can count on to show up on time and ready to work.
• Gear & Tools:
  You own your own hand tools and a tool belt and are ready to put them to work.

• Prior experience in residential carpentry or exterior remodeling.
• A "lead by example" attitude if you're looking to grow into a crew lead role.
