Willmar, MN 56201## Overview Position Type Full Time## Laborer Laborers perform a range of tasks to support Equipment Operators and Foreman in physically demanding hands-on tasks in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

This is a full travel role, so any candidates applying must be okay with traveling out of state for extended periods of time. Locations include: WY, NE, MN

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, barricades, traffic control, and material organization
* Support trenching, excavation, back filling, compacting, and utility installation
* Assist with placing pipe, conduit, cable, and other underground utility materials
* Spot for equipment operators and help protect existing underground utilities
* Operate hand tools and small equipment such as tampers, jackhammers, and power tools
* Load, unload, clean, and maintain tools, materials, vehicles, and equipment
* Follow OSHA, DOT, company safety guidelines, and dig-safe procedures
* Participate in jobsite safety meetings and hazard assessments
* Communicate with crew members, foremen, and subcontractors to meet daily production goals
* Follow supervisor direction and work as part of a safe, productive crew

* Required Qualifications:

* ** Education & Certification:**  + Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

* Experience:

**  + Previous experience in construction, utility or general labor preferred.  + Familiarity with trenching, pipe laying, and utility construction practices is a plus.
* ** Skills &

Competencies:

**  + Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.  + Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  + Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
