Industrial Journeyman Electrician

We are looking for an experienced electrical worker to support our Electric division by providing skilled work on industrial and commercial projects. The role involves executing installations, interpreting drawings, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring safety and quality across all work performed. The successful candidate will complete projects on time and up to code while upholding KE's commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practices
• Execute electrical construction on commercial and industrial projects
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Order and manage tools, equipment, and materials as needed
• Lead by example and mentor apprentices on-site
• Manage project files, documents, and records in digital systems
• Travel and work on out-of-town projects when needed
• Take on additional duties as assigned

Successful candidates typically bring:

• Journeyman’s License (required); will accept licenses from states with reciprocity
• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work
• Willingness to travel up to 100%, including overnights
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Pay Range:

• $40–$50 per hour plus per diem for travel and other incentive opportunities

Physical Requirements:

• Sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for extended periods
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Lift and carry up to 80 lbs
• Perform manual digging and back filling
