Salary Range: $18.15 - $23.86 hourly.
Schedule:
Day only, 8 hours per shift. Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend. FTE:
Full time, 1.0 FTE or 80 hours biweekly.
The Washer‑Dryer Operator is responsible for picking up, sorting, washing and drying linens, uniforms, drapes and other hospital washables. Also responsible for recording linen weights and supplies used, keeping work area and equipment clean, and for following proper safety procedures.

Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of work methods and washing equipment; safety precautions and work methods. Must work well with others, organize work responsibilities efficiently, use measuring devices, understand and interpret oral and written instructions, keep basic records, and maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.

- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking; occasionally lifts supplies/equipment; considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching. Ability to lift or push/pull fifty (50) pounds frequently and to stand, walk, turn, reach, stoop and crouch while performing tasks.
