Youth Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional; DSP

Position Overview

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part‑time asleep overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our youth foster care home in Duluth, MN.

Shifts:

10:00 pm–8:00 am for asleep hours, awake hours from 6:00 am–8:00 am. Two days a week and every other weekend required.

$18.50 per hour for asleep hours; $25.25–$25.75 per hour for awake hours, with a rate exception of $6.50 per hour paid on top of the base wage.

• Assist individuals with disabilities and mental illness in daily tasks, including medication administration and household duties.
• Support medication administration and personal hygiene needs.
• Employ behavioral management techniques to aid positive outcomes.
• Facilitate community activities such as shopping, concerts, dining, movies, fitness, and outdoor recreation.
• Develop meaningful relationships and contribute to a person‑centered culture.
• Maintain shift schedule of 4–8 hours per shift, covering days, evenings, and designated weekends.

• Pass a post‑offer background check.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check when working days or evenings.

Position is part‑time, asleep overnight.
