Position: Youth Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part‑time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our youth foster care home in Duluth, MN. As a DSP, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. If you are compassionate, warm‑hearted, and reliable with a passion for caring for others, apply to join our team! and Program

Celia youth foster program is located in Duluth, MN near the Miller Hill Mall. Celia provides support to boys ages 6‑11 with needs due to cognitive disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Shifts

Summer: 5:00 am/6:00 am – 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm/9:30 pm Sunday–Saturday. School hours will be 5:00 am – 9:00 pm, 2:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Weekdays and every‑other weekend. (See website for full schedule.)

Salary

$25.25–$25.75 per hour, including a rate exception of $6.50 per hour (included in the wage range).

What You’ll Do

Assist people with disabilities and mental illness in their daily activities, including medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, personal hygiene, medical care, and community activities such as shopping, concerts, eating out, movies, fitness, and outdoor recreation. Build meaningful relationships and contribute to a person‑centered culture that values the people we support and our team members.

Qualifications
  • Pass a post‑offer background check
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check if working days or evenings
  • Must be 21 or older to work in youth foster care settings
