Job Summary
As a Fueling Supervisor, you are responsible for supervision, directing, training and assisting fueling personnel. You ensure safe, on‑time fueling operation, customer coordination, interface, reinforcing all applicable regulations, policies and safety practices.
The expected pay rate is $22.50/hour. Full‑time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your Activities- Responsible for quality, health, safety and environmental activities at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries, aircraft and equipment damage.
- Receive, store, transfer and dispense petroleum fuel products.
- Supervise fueling staff.
- Maintain daily fueling operations.
- Coordinate activities with lead fueler and other fuelers in performing in‑plane and ground equipment fueling services.
- Disseminate instructions to fueling personnel and monitor their activities.
- Make spot assignment changes to optimize manpower and equipment utilization in a constantly changing workflow.
- Ensure compliance with company, airlines, FAA, MWAA and OSHA procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assist in the training process of all newly hired and promoted fuelers, leads, dispatchers and supervisors.
- Account fuel dispersals and receipts.
- Interface with airline shift‑management personnel to implement operational expansion as required.
- Work with airport operations personnel to ensure all safety and security guidelines are adhered to and participate in airline audits.
- Perform operating gauge procedures as necessary.
- Implement monthly safety and staff meetings.
- Complete accident/incident investigations and associated paperwork.
- Perform other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or specified in the GPPM Supplement.
- Implement daily tail‑gate meetings.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of fueling operations experience.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
