Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company step van to provide products and services to clients.
- Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
- Manage the daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
- Load/unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
- Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
- Develop leads, call prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts to generate new business.
- Communicate services, policies, and pricing methods clearly to customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and handle issues promptly and courteously.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and ensure the safety of others by using proper precautions and equipment.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required, within the scope of the role.
- Minimum age 21 with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
- Customer service experience with diverse customer interactions.
- Strong math and basic computer skills.
- Experience selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and solve customer concerns quickly.
- Exposure to adverse weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures, depending on location.
- Fast‑paced environment that may require irregular and long hours.
- Lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from a truck without assistance.
- Occasionally lift and maneuver over 50 lbs.
- Perform bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching as needed.
High school degree or equivalent.
License Requirements/CertificationsValid Driver’s License.
CompensationHourly rate: $26.00.
