Part-Time Package Handler

Job Summary

The Part‑Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

• Tuesday–Saturday 6:00 AM start
• Pay range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles as needed to maintain company image
• Perform light custodial duties to keep warehouse clean and safe
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Efficient time management skills
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read labels quickly and work independently

• At least 16 years of age
• High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work with all types of freight, including hazardous material, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
