Driving a school bus can be an interesting, exciting, and rewarding career choice, providing one with the opportunity to be out on the road and to interact with young lives. With a schedule oriented around the school year, it can be a perfect job for a parent of a school child, giving you days off when your children are off. Split-shift hours also tend to be helpful to college students or retired folks who need or want the middle hours of the day free to attend class themselves or work on projects at home.

  Don’t have a Commercial Driver’s License? No problem! We will provide paid training to get you properly licensed.

• Assist in assuring safe transportation of students; assist with loading and unloading of students, some with wheelchairs; secure seat belts and add-on student restraints; monitor student activity.
• Maintain order and discipline among students on the bus in accordance with policies related to disciplining students. Report behavioral issues to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate with district and company personnel, students, and parents concerning student needs, issues and concerns with tact, patience, and courtesy.
