Core Duties- Navigate commercial transport vehicles while strictly adhering to all road safety protocols and traffic legislation
- Conduct thorough vehicle assessments before and after every trip to ensure optimal mechanical health
- Manage the loading and unloading of freight by applying safe and efficient handling methods
- Help ensure customer satisfaction by completing deliveries to assigned sites within our service region
- Foster positive relationships with clients through clear and professional communication
- Keep precise logs and paperwork regarding all completed transport tasks
- Possession of a current Class A CDL along with a spotless driving history
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years
- At least one year of professional experience in delivery driving or a comparable position
- Open to candidates who have recently completed formal driver training
- Requirement to clear a DOT drug screening and hold a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Haz Mat certification
- Tanker vehicle experience
- Double/Triple trailer endorsements or a willingness to acquire them
- Background in operating forklifts is advantageous
