Under the general direction of the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager, provides direct patient care in the acute care departments by assisting and/or providing nursing care to acute care patients. Communicates with nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in conditions. Additionally, is cross‑trained to perform duties in other departments.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSCompletion of Certified Nurses Aide training course required.
Six months experience in a hospital setting preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Current CNA certification required.
- Current CPR certification required.
