Multi Trade Apprentice

About The Role

An exciting opportunity to join Housing Solutions as a Multi Trade Apprentice, under a fixed term 24 month contract while completing a Level 2 Property Maintenance qualification. While completing your apprenticeship you will be working in our friendly and professional DLO team and supporting the provision and delivery of an efficient repairs and maintenance services to the residents of around 7,500 homes in Maidenhead and the surrounding area via our own in-house repairs team.

This apprenticeship offers a strong introduction to property maintenance, giving you the chance to work across a variety of building types while learning from experienced professionals. While completing the Property Maintenance qualification, you’ll develop a solid understanding of planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety regulations, building systems, and environmental standards. The property maintenance apprenticeship provides hands on experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical isolation, plastering, decorating, tiling, flooring, roofing, and drainage repairs.

Alongside the technical skills, you’ll learn how to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, record information accurately, and work in a sustainable and professional way. By the end of the programme, you’ll be confident in fixing basic faults and understanding how your work contributes to the wider organisation.

You’ll enjoy this apprenticeship if you’re practical, safety conscious, and keen to learn a wide range of maintenance skills. You should be someone who takes pride in doing a job well, communicates clearly, and is committed to developing both your technical abilities and your professional behaviours. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and an interest in how buildings function will help you thrive.
