• Multi‑functional position, incorporating the performance of mechanic duties on various pieces of machinery and operating equipment.

• Experience working on construction equipment, preferably dump trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, skid steers, and tug boats.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must provide own tools (up to 1/2” drive mechanical and pneumatic, plus job-required tools).
• Basic MIG, TIG, and stick welding experience preferred.
• Ability to use cutting torches and standard shop tools.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel and/or OEM diagnostic systems).
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks such as climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working at heights.
• Must wear required PPE at all times.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license (up to 26,000 lbs).
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Reliable attendance required to support crew efficiency.
• Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude with coworkers, customers, and the public.
• Flexibility with schedule, location, and shift changes.
• Willingness to assist in other roles as needed for job completion.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this role.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Must provide own tools (up to 1/2” drive).
• Must have 5 years of experience working on diesel trucks and construction equipment, OR completion of a 2-year college‑level technical program in diesel or heavy equipment mechanics.
