Maintenance
Location:
Dunbar, WV
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Position Type:
Temporary to Permanent
- Prepare housing units for incoming tenants
- Respond to maintenance requests (work orders) as assigned
- Perform routine grounds maintenance throughout the year
- Assist with basic repairs including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks
- Maintain and use personal basic hand tools as required
- Ensure safety and proper upkeep of property and equipment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding work orders and status updates
- Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Valid driver's license required
- Basic experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform hands‑on physical labor in various environments
- Must be able to pass standard pre‑employment screening
