Warehouse Supervisor
to join our team and help us deliver excellence to our customers!
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse and delivery operations.
- Ensure timely and efficient customer deliveries, addressing any issues or delays.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
- Coordinate warehouse operations to support accurate and timely order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and delivery, to ensure efficient workflows and customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for operational improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage routine maintenance of warehouse equipment and building infrastructure as needed.
- Participate in branch meetings to discuss operational updates, challenges, and improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, vendors, and branch leadership.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, delivery processes, and inventory management practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently. Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations; supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Capability to navigate and access all areas of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Ability to work in varying environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise as typical in warehouse and delivery settings.
