Lattice Boom Crane Operator
to join our marine construction team.

Working as part of a 4–5 person marine construction crew, you’ll operate a conventional lattice boom, friction, or crawler crane primarily from a barge.
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently for marine construction, including material handling, equipment movement, pile driving, drilling, and dredging
- Set up and operate equipment for pile driving, maintaining proper alignment, positioning, and depth
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from barges and vessels
- Work closely with the Foreman and crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or mechanical issues
- Maintain required crane logs, reports, and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, participate in toolbox meetings, and maintain required PPE
- Travel to out-of-town project sites and work overtime or extended hours when required
- Take care of the equipment and contribute to a positive, respectful team environment
- 2+ years of experience operating conventional lattice boom, friction, or crawler cranes
- Mobile Crane Operator certification
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction
- Safety-first mindset and respect for equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Flexibility to travel and work overtime as project demands require
- Preference given to candidates based in the Duncan/Cowichan Valley area
