EG Floor Attendant - 29959

We are currently looking for a Part-time 38 EG Floor Attendant to join our second (2nd) shift team at Chisholm Trail Casino in Duncan, OK.

Summary:

Provides exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the gaming floor. Assists guests with basic gaming machine questions, identifies jackpot transactions, maintains the appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas, and helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable gaming experience through professional, courteous service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides first-class customer service to internal and external customers and responds to questions, concerns, compliments, and requests with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
  • Greets guests and provides a welcoming, positive gaming experience.
  • Assists guests with basic questions regarding gaming machine operation, payouts, promotions, and general casino information.
  • Handles routine guest concerns and identifies situations requiring assistance from supervisory personnel.
  • Identifies top prize transactions and accurately completes required documentation in a timely manner while providing excellent guest service.
  • Works collaboratively with Operations, Security, and other departments to provide prompt and effective guest assistance.

Gaming Floor Operations:

  • Coordinates with management, supervisors, and Security to identify and report damaged gaming equipment, suspicious activity, or attempts to cheat.
  • Observes and reports gaming floor irregularities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and SOPs for assigned areas.
  • Completes required training and participates in continuing development opportunities.

Facility Appearance:

  • Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming gaming environment.
  • Cleans assigned work areas, including floors, restrooms, ash trays, trash receptacles, sidewalks, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
  • Aligns chairs and maintains the appearance of gaming areas.
  • Observes and reports potential safety hazards and environmental concerns.

Professionalism:

  • Works collaboratively with team members to support operational goals and guest service standards.
  • Maintains professionalism, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to Chickasaw Nation standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Competencies / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a guest-facing environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, team members, departments, and management.
  • Ability to handle routine customer concerns while maintaining professionalism and knowing when to involve supervisory personnel.
  • Ability to remain alert and observant while identifying safety concerns, damaged equipment, or suspicious activity.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to write clear and effective communications and complete required documentation.
  • Ability to read, understand, apply, and retain departmental policies, procedures, regulations, and gaming guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to accurately count currency by hand and with cash counting equipment.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key adding machine.

Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required.
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, custodial, or gaming experience is a plus.

Credentials:

  • Must pass a gaming background check.
  • Must obtain and maintain a gaming license or permit as required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test with a negative result.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 25% of the shift.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods, up to 100% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination, reaching, grasping, and manual dexterity.

Working Conditions:

  • Casino environment with exposure to secondhand smoke.
  • Working evening shift including weekends and holidays
  • Bright and flashing lights may be present.
  • Elevated noise levels and large crowds may be present.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent interaction with guests, team mates and other individuals throughout the shift
