Job Details:

• Work mid shifts from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM with 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM rotation support as applicable

• Patient ratios of 1:2-3 with maximum of 4 patients per nurse

• Every other weekend requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Travel experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, NIHSS, ENPC, ISTAT

• Float within scope to meet facility needs

• Block scheduling accommodations available

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Handle various emergency cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, lacerations, abdominal emergencies, pediatric conditions, orthopedic injuries, and respiratory emergencies

• Perform procedures including central lines, arterial lines, blood product administration, IV management, procedural sedation, and ventilated patient care

• Work with Phillips monitors and Stryker beds

• Meditech charting system experience preferred

• Oklahoma nursing license required with submittal

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a Level II Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke certification, providing comprehensive emergency services to the community. The emergency department features 22 rooms with 19 beds and maintains a daily census of approximately 74 patients. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
