Position: Travel Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,158 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Duncan, Oklahoma. The assignment starts on 07/30/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with a 40‑hour week consisting of 5 days of 8‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to pediatric patients and older adults based on diagnosed conditions.
  • Play an important role in helping patients recover and improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the company’s code of business conduct, the corporate compliance agreement, applicable professional standards, and state/federal laws.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • At least 2 years of SLP experience.
  • Independent decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Compassionate and sensitive; a critical thinker and able to act quickly in emergencies.
