Manufacturing Production, Assembly, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, as well as having the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the operations in an industrial setting. You will make a difference by being a team player and have great listening and communication skills.
What do we offer?The hourly rate for this role is between $19.00 an hour. Benefit coverage begins on day 1 and includes medical/dental/vision, supplemental options, life insurance, short-term disability, a 401k plan with 6% company contribution, vacation paid, and 12 paid holidays per year.
Shift :
Able to work 2nd shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Must have good listening and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others to be a good team player.
Typical Day
- Assist in daily 5S and cleaning procedures.
- Assist others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
- Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
- Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
- Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

Environment
Work is performed in an indoor manufacturing environment exposed to production activities, including machinery, assembly operations, overhead cranes, and forklift traffic. Personal protective equipment is required.

Required to use written and oral communication skills; read, interpret, and analyze data, information, and documents; solve problems; use math; observe and interpret situations; learn new information; interact with employees, customers, and vendors.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside your function, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
