Position SummaryDräxlmaier Automotive is seeking a skilled and driven Production Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repairs, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment functionality and process performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automated production equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment.
