Night Shift

Objective of Job: Check in and unload trucks, perform simple inspections of materials and transport material appropriately. Stock in materials, pick orders, and perform simple cycle counts in the warehouse.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect incoming parts/goods/materials for damage and make yes/no decisions.
• Sort out damaged parts/batches and place them in blocked storage area.
• Carry out simple transport within the plant.
• Assemble and forward transported goods documentation (e.g., packing slips, hazardous materials documentation) according to the order.
• Assist with inventory control (counting, weighing) and report deviations.
• Check and compare quantities of parts with accompanying papers.
• Book parts in and out to specified storage locations according to guidelines.
• Receive, sort, distribute, unpack, book in, and repack parts; operate material handling equipment as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping using the 6S principles.
• Perform PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows safety guidelines.
• Ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials.
• Cooperate with co‑workers to maintain a good working environment.
• Use hand‑held scanners to move materials between locations.
• Use powered industrial trucks (turret, stand‑up, sit‑down) to unload, store, retrieve, stage, and transport material.

Job Requirements:

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Good technical knowledge of sit‑down, stand‑up, and reach trucks.
