Quality Engineering, Process Engineer
You will be part of a cross‑functional Quality organization that partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, Methods, Assembly, Machining, and Supply Chain teams. This team works collaboratively to ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements while advancing a strong culture of quality across the site and division.

, you will play a critical role in driving stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the division. You will proactively use process performance analytics and quality tools to improve product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction while aligning quality outcomes to site and company business objectives.
In this role, you will lead the resolution of complex quality issues, integrate solutions across multiple functions, support new product and process introductions, and ensure compliance with internal and external quality systems. You will serve as a technical leader, mentor, and advocate for quality excellence, helping to strengthen our culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
What do we want to know about you?Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality, Design, Operations, R&D, or a related technical field
- Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (QRQC, 8D, PDCA, FMEA, audits, etc.)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or certification in structured problem‑solving methodologies (Six Sigma, Shainin, or similar), preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to synthesize multiple data inputs into actionable insights
- Strong quality compliance mindset and attention to detail
- Blueprint reading at both assembly and part level, including GD&T
- Knowledge of MSA, gauging concepts, and measurement techniques
- Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement projects
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; comfortable presenting to leadership
- Ability to influence and lead across a matrix organization; interest in future people‑leader responsibilities
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and project management principles is a plus
- Ensure compliance with internal and external quality system requirements, including ISO 9001, AAR, and IRIS
- Lead technical efforts related to product quality control, reliability improvement, and process performance enhancement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process adherence, best‑practice sharing, and post‑launch lessons learned
- Own and actively manage key Quality KPIs, including but not limited to COPQ, scrap, rework, non‑conformance closure, audit compliance, calibration, and corrective actions
- Partner with Design Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Methods, and suppliers to ensure product and process requirements are met on time
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure launch readiness for new products and processes
- Audit assigned areas for compliance to the QMS and quality plans; lead corrective actions where gaps are identified
- Support alignment of quality goals, work plans, and budgets with site and business objectives
- Provide mentoring and coaching to Quality Inspectors, Technical Advisors, and early‑career associates
- Take an active leadership role in advancing the site’s quality culture
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including applicable PPE
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours per day
- Daily face‑to‑face interaction with production employees on the shop floor
- Regular interaction with cross‑functional salaried teams and site leadership
- Use of PPE and exposure to manufacturing environments as required
